YeSTeRDay'S PrOJeK....


Sangat suka dengan kek gulung or commonly known as Swiss Roll.. kat malaysia salu makan, tapi beli je hehe, x pernah wat sendiri huhu.. kat sini setakat nih dah 4 kali buat termasuk semalam.. 1st two times x berape jadi, kali ke 3 baru jadi tu pun selepas di improvise and tukar method skit... semalam buat x berapa jadi sebab guna method lama..
Ape rahsia Swiss roll sebenarnye..??
Where ever I checked, method nye same je, mesti pukul telur dgn gula smpai putih gebu then add tepung dgn cara folding. Then tuang mixture dlm baking tray yg dah di alas dgn baking sheet. Tu je, so simple!! But, seriously, everytime I use this method, x pernah yg jadi huhu.. mesti merekah la, bnyk crumbs, x spongy, etc etc.. termasukla yg semalam nih... memang method ni won't work for me la..
But some recipes letak Ovalette as one of the ingredients. Could this be the secret to a spongy and fine texture Swiss roll? If yes, then pening kepala aku, mana pulak nak carik Ovalette kat Deutschland nih!! All items are written in Deutsch, and sometimes they don't use direct translation from the dictionary, but they have their own name.



Ni lah die Swiss Roll yg x berapa menjadi... Nevertheless, there is another method yg saya cuba dan jaya je.. Nasib baik menjadi. Asing kan dulu kuning telur. Mix 60g sugar, 3 egg yolks, susu segar sikit (x ingat sukatan, main hentam kromo je), and sikit minyak or butter cair. Pukul sampai kembang, then baru add in 50g tepung. Then last skali baru beat egg white ni sampai putih gebu then fold kan ke dlm mixture tadi. Hasilnye lebih cantik, gebu, lembut, spongy and senang nak roll... x perlu pun Ovallete.


Ni lah die the only Swiss Roll yg btol2 menjadi and puas hati.. cuma malas nak wat method nih sebab kena asingkan kuning telur hehe..

Ok, ape pun kuih sagu ni menjadi cuma lembik sikit.. resipi bole cek blog Hana... Hana dah cakap dah kena kurangkan air, tapi saya pegi tambah air haha!! coz malas nak kukus punye pasal! tp last2 kukus jugak, memang jadi cantik!

hehe tq hajar.. sebenarnye semua pun x berapa jadi, tp bole lah utk tekak sy nih hehe..
