Today's story..

Oh too bad...
Today she's sick, she vomited 5 times through the night, crying and kept asking me why is she sick? 

Oh my sweetie, don't know how to make her understand that being sick is neccessary so we'll appreciate being healthy. That way she'll take her apple everyday too hehe..

I was up all night so that I could tend to all her needs, mmmmm, wait, not really all night, I exaggerated a bit, I was actually able to sleep at 5.00am, and got up at 7.00am, the vomiting had stopped, but she complained of a stomach ache...

Mmmmm.. I was so sure she's infected by Rotavirus.... Again...

These viruses seemed to have loved us so much...
My children picked it up many times before, you can read HERE.

But, she didn't have a diarhea like I've expected she would today..
Nevertheless, I took extra precautions anyway, everybody has to wash their hands thoroughly, I myself have had a countless hand-washing, my hands are all dry out from the excess soap hehe..

Oh pity her, she's been sleeping all morning too..

Heheh ape la gaya tido camtu..
I hope there's nothing serious, I hope she'll be ok soon...

Yesterday she made this drawing, and the moment I looked at it, I knew what it was!

Haaaaaaa... a slight resemblance rite??

I mean, she's 4 years old, and she drew something which I knew immediately what it was, that means there's a slight resemblance, and I'm utterly impressed!!

This is definitely her aunty's genes!

All of them love painting so much, they would all make these row of paintings, and then asked me to chose which one is Number 1, number 2, number 3, and of course being a fair mommy, I'd say all were beautiful heheh..

Not bad huh??

Other than paintings, they love all kinds of arts too..

Other than art lovers, there's also a computer nerd in the house..

She eats, drinks, and sleeps in front of the Computer hehehe!!!

Paintings, Friends, etc etc haha..

Mmmmmmmm.... It's been quite sometimes since I've last updated about my paintings. This one below is the latest which I've painted a few months ago. Then I've stopped painting temporarily because I dun know where else should I hang them? The house looks all flowery already, Lily had once said;

"Ahhhhhh Fruhling!!!", when she entered the house haha..

That means 'Spring' in English...

Ok, so what do you think?

 I've got a few fans for this painting, some even asked me to start selling my paintings online haha.. Very funny..

This particular painting however, was soooooo much adored by my mother, she'd even seriously thinking about taking it home with her..
Dun worry mom, I'll make another one for u, with a special touch :D

And not just that, it is also used as a background for a photo shoot, during Eid celebration and a few more events which I couldn't locate where have I stored those photos.

Maybe I should start a photography sessions or something with my painting as a background (yeah right, in my dream... Hehehe)

Ok, another huge fan of my paintings is of course, Mike.. Hahaha.. He's also into this painting, mmmmmmm or maybe he's just trying to be nice :D

So he was here last Sunday, and had lunch with us and another new Malaysian friend here. And this morning, again he and hubby headed for the Base, I guess checking things out, and I'm here at home wanting to share something with you guys...

When Mike was here, and as always when we meet, there's always something we've learnt from this knowledgeable guy.

Last week, he talked a lil bit bout the US army base to our new Malaysian friend here, bout things inside there, how cheap were the stuffs there..
 But something he said that day, made me think, really really think, like I've just been slapped..!
Ouch!

He said, though things are cheap in there, because they were free from tax, it is ILLEGAL, that's the word, 'ILLEGAL' for anyone to sneak them out and make money out of it!

Of course it's illegal, those are the special rights for all US armies here, and it is not meant for anyone to make a profit out of it!!!!!!!

And the thing is, how come I've never realized this before? I was so close to asking him why didn't he make profit from this? I've always thought, what a waste? He had all the opportunity, and I have so many Malaysian friends who are soooooo into Corelle!

Now I know why, why he never seemed the least interested, because it's 'ILLEGAL'...

And I feel a stab of shame, how could I even think about it? I'm a Muslim and he's not, and he has more moral values than me...

Thank God I've never voiced it out to him before about this 'Business' idea... Huhu..

Though it seems like a small matter, but...

"Walau sebesar zarah skali pun pasti akan menerima balasan...."

And it's true..... "Kefakiran menghampirkan kita dengan kekufuran....."

 I think, Mike will be the closest to a perfect Muslim if he is a Muslim, and I hope he receives the hidayah someday...

By the way, my mom had met him as well when she was here, and I heard her say, 

"You are a nice man! "

By the way, that whole roasted chicken in a green cover pyrex is specially made by hubby for him hehehe...

Ok, lastly, Lesson I've learnt, we as a Muslim, shouldn't take something so lightly, shouldn't act so indifferent when dealing with anything.... 

Shouldn't be so ignorant... *sigh*

Colors of Spring... :)

It is Fruhling (Spring).....

The most beautiful season of all...

Flowers are everywhere...

On the grass, on the trees, by the roadsides, they are everywhere...

So so so so beautiful..

Can you imagine how small the basket is???

She said, "Look mama!! Pawer...." (that's how Aleena pronounces flower) hehe

And our daily routine in conjunction with Spring season and also School Holiday,

And look, there's also soft toys for children to play with :)

And nampak tu, Ratu buku betul hehehe... the other kids her age were busy playing, but she was just totally engrossed in her book :)

Dan lagi.... hehehe

Day 2 @ library, and still.....

She just loves books...

I hope to maintain this passion she has for books :)

Overall, for me, Spring is the most wonderful time of the year, the changes from shorter daytime to a longer one...

From a dark, gloomy winter to a sunny and bright day...

From an icy cold to a comfortable heat....

The changes was just great, makes me feel new everyday...

Makes me feel alive everyday too :)

mmmmm... I know I know, it should be the other way around, I should be painting this during winter, and start with all the colorful flowers during Spring, silly me hehehe..

Never mind, I paint something depending on my mood and regardless of the weather :)

Nevertheless, I'm very satisfied with this one :)

Projects, projects...

Salam Jumaat to all... It's been a busy week for me, never felt busier all my life heheheh!!

One of the biggest project for this past week was....

mmmmmmmm...

Heheh, bread making :)

We've just bought a bread maker, so the excitement of making our very own bread is still at its highest peak :)

Well, I hope this is not only temporary hehe..

We've made raisins bread (above photo), and...

Bread with a sosej in the middle, Afeef's favorite :)

And, we've also made white bread, carrot and cinamon bread, and pizza is my next project hehe..

Anyway, I would like to thank my sifu for all this bread making procedure, Cik siti hajar, she gave me lots of tips, and even though I hadn't quite obtained the satisfying results, and my bread didn't look as fluffy and soft as the one she'd made, I refused to be derailed..

I'll try and try again..

Million thanx to Hajar for all her help..

And...

Another project that had been going on, apart from bread making was....

Paintings...

mmm.. I'm not really satisfied with this one actually...

But this one here, I'm very2 satisfied.... :)

I've just finished it today, haven't yet hang it anywhere, not sure where I should too...

And, lastly, I've managed to play and record a new song on Piano..

Lovely2 song, beautiful melody...

The 1st time I've heard it, I fell in love with it straight away, and I tried playing it on my piano :)

Awwwwwwwwwwww....

She loves my piano so much, she loves my drawing so much, she loves my bread so much, and most importantly, she's my background singer in this song I played... hehe

My first project :)

My first real project hehe..

It took me two days to complete the whole thing.. not bad for a beginner like me :)

This one goes in the dining area...

mmmm... next project, is pink and purple tulips...

My very own painting is on the wall !!

It's not anything special or unique, but... it's my very own, and it feels great !!!

And thanx to Mr. Hubby again for his full support (as always :) ), he bought two huge drawing boards for me hehe, so sweet :)

Housewife's heaven...

A few years ago, I would strived to make sure that I'd have my own career, I couldn't imagined myself staying at home for the rest of my life...

For me, life at home was not a life at all...

I've gone through almost 2/3 of this marriage with me busy completing a bachelor degree in IIUM, a year ++ as a full time housewife in Malaysia and 2 years as a full time housewife here in Deutschland..

In that 1 year in Malaysia as a housewife, I had many plans for myself, to further studies, to get a job, to start my own business etc etc..

I just couldn't stand it, couldn't bear life as a housewife.. I found it utterly... boring...

But in these 2 years of life as housewife in Deutschland, I have not even felt the slightest boredom, I have no longer wished a life as a career woman, In fact, I don't want any other kind of life but, the one that I have now !!!

I don't know if this feeling is only temporary or not, because being a housewife in Deutschland is very highly acknowledged, and appreciated..

I got scolded once by my Deutsch teacher for saying,

"I have no profession, I'm a housewife.."

And she got all emotional and said,

"Housewife is a profession!! you cook, clean, take care of your kids, bla bla bla... maybe in M'sia it's not a profession, but here in Deutschland it is, bla bla... "

hehehe

So I guess, I've already have a profession and it's the best !!

Count my word on that, and recently, I've discovered something from one of the stores here, a painting boards... lots and lots of them, with different sizes...

Oh my, suddenly, the desire to paint again overwhelmed me heheh..

So I started last week, my 1st trial, I bought a small board 1st, in case in turned out disastrous :D

But it didn't end up disastrously, fortunately enough for me hehe..

I tried a simple and kiddy kind of drawing 1st with Fatini nearby, watching me closely, scrutinizing details of my drawing, and repeated the same compliment over and over again,

"Wow... cantik nya mama lukis !!"

For a 4 year old, cantik sgt la painting ni, but.... hubby was also impressed???!!!!

Aiyo, wait till he sees my real paintings... haha !! :D

Just kidding, i'm not that good actually, but hubby said there's part of me that has never been exposed, or that part of me that he never knew about?? hehe

Maybe he's right, there's so much desires in me, to paint, to play music, to decorate, to come up with something different, but none of it was possible in Malaysia, the exposure was just not there..

But here, everything seems possible and is made possible by existing opportunity..

I'm not so good at any of it, but I can certainly make something simple looks attractive.. but again, it lies in the eyes of the beholder..

Some people might find it not even the least attractive hehe..

For example, I found this from a different stores, and combining it...

By the way, the whole house is like 'kedai bunga' already hehe..

So, what a great life a housewife can have, you have lots of time to start your hobby, to do whatever you desire, as for me, I have so many things to do in one day that time never seems enough for me...

I have lots of time to read, currently, i'm on this interesting Mary Higgins novel...

And, I have lots of time to cook too..

Not just any cook, I can try any new recipes any time I want !!

Later I'll post an entry bout this recipe :)

And also, I have lots of time to play piano, to learn Deutsch, to start painting, to spend times with the kids which is priceless, to help Afeef with his homework, to go out and have fun anytime I want, and most importantly, I have lots of time for ibadah, isn't that cool ??

Isn't housewife the best profession ??

The answer is YES to me, and it's heaven on earth, and I know, later in Malaysia, things might be different, everything might not be as sweet as it is now, but...

Life can be interesting anywhere, everywhere right??

With God's will, everything is possible..

And, the truth is always there, God has plans for all of us, it might not be something we like or what we wanted in the beginning, but turned out to be a bed of roses, and with a lil bit of realization and a positive thinking, the truth will hit you.....

That life, wherever you live it, is full of blessings, in it's very own way..
