A New HoBBy... Hehe..

Assalamualaikum...

Nowadays, I kinda addicted to something, something I've never paid so much attention to before..
And.... I've learnt it from friends around here in Deutschland.
And it became a new hobby hehe...
What is it then??

Ahah...
It must have something to do with the Dream camera I'd talked about in my previous entry... Hehe..

Yesssss...
Photography!!!
I like I like I like!!!

Ok, let's check out what this dream camera of mine could do...
Some people call it a compact DSLR, DSLR alternative, or a pocket DSLR..
Let's see if it's as good as DSLR camera...
Or close to it...

I've done a little photo shoot recently, but not so much....

So, the first one, are the photos of nature;

We'd gone to Sunflowers field recently, and this is one of the photos taken...
And I must say, I'm very satisfied and very impressed too with the quality of each photos.

I've mistakenly used different mode while capturing this photo of a butterfly, I should have used the Macro mode which produces a sharp and precise image of small objects.
But still, it is waaaayyy satisfying for me despite the wrong mode used hehe..

See how it captures the water droplets so finely??

Next, some photos taken inside the house :

This one was taken inside a Restaurant.

And a photo of food:

Nice isn't it?
Or am I the only one 'syok sendiri' with the photos??
:D

And a photo of the moon:

I have to learn how to capture a better photos of the moon using this camera.
I've seen photos of the moon taken by someone using the same camera, and he managed to capture the moon so beautifully...

Below are photos of Sunrise:

I used two different modes, on the left I used the Scene mode and on the right, I used Auto intelligent mode.
I think they're both beautiful :)

And lastly, and of course most importantly, are the photos of my three lovely MODELS!
:)

Gambar sexy turut tak terkecuali hehe...

And the best part about this camera is that, it is smaller compared to most DSLR camera, Pocket-friendly and Power-packed too!
Interesting isn't it...

I have friends who rarely carry the bulky DSLR camera with them because of the size and etc, so this one is actually a highly reccommended alternative ;)

So, that was all for now..
There are many many other photos, and overall, I think all of them are very very impressive..
As for me, who only want beautiful photos, something easy to handle on the go, something I can grab and bring with me wherever I go, lighter, and never planned to become a profesional photographer, it's just something I wanna do as a hobby, so, this camera is enough, so enough..... but for those who wants to venture further into the world of Photography, then you should get the real DSLR :)

Ok, I feel like I'm writing a camera review or something haha.
But I was asked to give a review of this camera a few days ago, mmmmm...
I sensed someone might follow my footsteps!

Ok, that's all for now, I'm going to shoot more and more!
Till later, Salam..

A 3in1 Recipe (",)

Salam...

Today just wanna share this simple recipe which turned out to be a 3 in 1 recipe..

Meatballs ala-ala Ikea + Meatballs with potatoes and also daging burger...

The taste is good, I can assure you.. Trust me (",)

So, let's layan the Recipe (",)

Ingredients needed:

~~ 1 whole Onion.
~~ 2 cloves Garlics.
~~ 1/2 inch Ginger.
~~ 1 Teaspoonful Black Pepper (if you like it hot, you can add more)
~~ 1 Egg
~~ Approximately 4 Tablespoon Flour.
~~ 500g Minced Meat.
~~ Salt, sugar to taste.

Methods:

~~ Blend onion, garlic, ginger and black pepper with only a little bit of water.
~~ After you've done with blending, pour half of the mixture into a bowl containing the minced meat.
~~ Add egg, flour, salt and sugar into the bowl.
~~ Mix thoroughly!!
~~ Once done, make tiny balls out of the minced meat mixture and fry them.
That is shown on the first pic above, on the left.

Also, you can make a meat for burger out of it, just shape the meat accordingly and fry and then make your own burger with salad, tomatoes, cucumber, ketchup, mayonaise etc etc...
mmmmmm yummy yummy....

Lastly, to have the Meatballs like on the first photo above on the right, just fry the remaining blended ingredients until golden and add in sliced onions, some water, salt and sugar to taste and add in cut and fried potatoes.
Done!

A three in one recipe, Enjoy!!

mmmmm... sedikit selingan sempena Pilihanraya hehe..

Yesterday, I saw this photo on my brother's FB wall...
It was uploaded over a week ago, but only yesterday I'd noticed it.. huhu...
Ini lah akibatnya kalau malas ber FB...

This is my mom's house in Gombak... (",)
RINDUUUUUUUUUUUU....

Way to go mom...

I'm not a fanatic supporter of any political parties, but I'm a supporter of any efforts in Making Malaysia a real Muslim Country~~
A real Muslim Country...

And of course, people might say, they use religion as a basis to get what they want...

But not him..

And I adore him....

Regardless of whatever political inclination you have, you cannot deny the humbleness of this man as a leader, and his influence to Malaysia and Kelantan specifically...

"When there comes the help of Allah and the Conquest, and that you see the people enter Allah's Religion in crowds, so glorify the praises of your Lord, and ask His forgiveness. Verily, He is the One Who accepts the repentance and Who forgives.." Surah An-Nasr.

Spring Mood... (",)

Since I'm the type who don't mind living in a place where there's not many Malaysian around, and that I prefer to be alone most of the time, (so that I can read or listen to my kids talking all the time phew..), I realized that living in Germany is actually a true joy....
And that leaving all these behind is gonna be hard for me..
Already, at some point, the idea of leaving Germany for good brought tears to my eyes...

It's Spring now....
And I love Spring so much, flowers bloomed everywhere, people eating, drinking, having picnic under the sun...
The atmosphere is full of merriment..
Just imagine after months of dark, gloomy days, suddenly the sun appears so bright, how exciting that is... everyone's craving for the sun!!
I love the sight so much....

I myself feel like flying, floating, rolling on the grass, jumping, dancing all at once hehe...
So beautiful...

Even Daisies look extraordinarily beautiful... ***sigh***
This year's Spring terlebih 'feeling' sket, because perhaps this will be our last Spring..
mmmmmmm.... last Spring in Germany la kot...
Taktau la kot kot ade Spring kat Korea ke, Jepun ke lepas ni hehehehe!

Ok lah, that's all for now about the beauty of Spring, more updates later insyaAllah..
Till later....

~~One of the best feelings in the world is knowing your presence and absence both mean something to someone (",)~~

Tetibe jer... hehe..

What's New..... (",)

Salam...

Yeay!
Barang untuk projek terbaru dah sampai.... ngeeee...

Ini lah ia...

Dan bersama model comel, gebu, bulat, pink, bulat, gebu, comel, cute, bubui, mumui, kukui....
I'm crazy bout her (",)

mmmmmmm... nanti kalau dah menjadi projek, baru lah I share what it is ya!
For now, biarlah rahsia.... (",)

And lastly, nak share my latest Piano Cover...

Lagu nasyid lama by Dehearty ~~Wanita~~

Used to love this song, and still is... So I decided to make a cover...

"Tercipta engkau dari rusuk lelaki,
Bukan dari kaki untuk di alasi,
Bukan dari kepala untuk di junjung,
Tapi dekat di bahu untuk di lindung,
Dekat pula di hati untuk dikasihi......"

Itu la sebahagian lirik lagu, dulu2 selalu tertanye2 hadis sahih ke ni? ke tak sahih? kenapa dari tulang rusuk ye???
Yes yes, I have an inquisitive mind...

So recently, found the answer by Ustaz Azhar Idrus...

Oh hadis Sahih!!!
Oh simbolik nye Allah!!

If we human being interpreted the creation of woman from men's Rib symbolizes how woman should be loved because the Rib is located so near to the heart, then I think there's one more important point here, that the Rib protect two of the most important organs in our body, the Lung and the Heart...
See how important woman's role are in men's Life???

There's Always Something To Learn.... (",)

Just wanna share something here, there was a thick snow yesterday, so after we fetched Fatini from Kindergaten, we didn't go straight home, we spent almost half an hour playing with the snow instead.
Fatini was the first to finish, so she requested to get inside.
Aleena refused and asked for a lil more time, and at this 'extra time' she'd requested, I just stood there watching her, freezing, shivering.... brrrrrrrrr...

Eventually, I forced her to get inside, so she threw a tantrum for not wanting to get inside..
What!!!
It was almost an hour, and I made a few snow balls and a tiny snow man and already I was freezing and she was all;
"Tak sejuk pun..."
"Tak lama pun main, baru kejap je.."
huhuhu...

Haaaaa nampak, sempat buat macam2 gaya, pastu cakap tak sejuk?!

Ok, ok, so today, on the way home from kindergarten, I tried my best to divert her attention from the snow in front of our house, but to no avail...
And, I didn't let her play with the snow, as I had runny nose but the real reason was, I knew it won't be  a short while!! I knew she wouldn't want to stop!
 mmmmm kijam ke?

So ape lagi, ngamuk laaaaa... mmmmm...
kesian la pulak..

And today evening about 2pm, Fatini was standing by the window and suddenly she said out loud,
"Mama tangok!! Comel la budak tu main tarik2 camtu!!"

I looked out the window and saw a mom and her child playing on the thick snow...
mmmmmm cute (dalam hati la..)

But nothing hit me just yet....
Until about 4.45pm, when it was bout getting dark outside, I went to the window again to pull down the blinds, and.....
Oh my God, they were still there!!!
Both of them, and they both look so..... happy!!

Then it hit me, oh.... I'm a terrible mother...
She could spend hours with her child, but me???
1 jam pun dah bising huhu...
I adore German moms, they're so committed!
And I've learned a lot from them!

So with new determination, I promised myself that tomorrow I'll put water proof clothes on Aleena, and let her play for as long as she wants on the snow..
I'll prepare lunch early in the morning so Afeef and Fatini will have something to eat for lunch when they got home, and I'll bring a book with me so I can read while waiting for her to finish playing with the snow..
Yes, I'll do that!

Errrrr... Tetibe bukak tingkap tengok snow dah cair hehehe...

GoOd And NuTriTioUs FoOd.. (",)

Ehem...
mmmmmm.. it's not a food story day just yet, but... can I talk a lil bit bout food?

Ok, It's not a recipe that I wanna share here, nor what I've cooked for today, but I just wanna raise awareness to a healthy eating habit. Haaahh!!
Tetibe jer..! hehe..

But seriously, do you realize that most of us often care for enough food rather than good food?

I remember once, a friend of mine prepared a porridge for her baby, and the porridge was just a porridge,  it consists of a rice, salt and water and nothing else!!
She said, sometimes she add eggs, or just soya sauce!
That's it??!!

No fibers, no proteins (ok there'll be proteins if she add eggs, but eggs all the time??)...
How about vitamins and minerals? Our children needs those more than anything else!

I was shocked, but it hits me instantly when she said;
"It doesn't matter, I just don't want my kid to feel hungry.."
Yeah true, but don't you want your kid to be healthy too?

I don't know, I don't blame her, it's just us, Malaysian people especially, our awareness of good and nutritious food is startlingly low...
We tend to go for the quantity rather than the quality of the food.
It's no one to be blamed, some people really can't afford to have a better food, so their focus is not on nutritious food, but whether or not they have something to feed on..
Oh, this is heart breaking..
Thank you Allah for unlike those who are unfortunate, we have the choice...
"What should I eat today?"
rather than,
"Is there anything to eat?"

Back to my main point, I used to be a mommy who just wanted to make sure my kids weren't hungry too, I never bothered to ensure that they have all the nutrition needed for growth etc etc..
Which explains, why Afeef used to have a daily 'nasik, kicap, telur' routine, because that's the simplest to prepare huhu..
I told you before, I used to be a lazy mommy, huhu..
But not anymore, my mission now is to make sure my children have all the good foods, and I think I've succeeded a little.
From someone who used to hate vegetables especially the raw ones, Afeef now enjoy salad with rice and any kind of side dish.
I make sure he has salad everyday in his meal. And also an apple is a must everyday.
And recently, Fatini and Aleena starting to enjoy salad in their food too!!
So I'm telling you guys all this, so as to share my own experience, and that it's not impossible or too late to start!

Make the right choice, avoid MSG, anything with preservatives, less processed foods, more fruits and vegetables, it's not so difficult actually (",)
It's one thing if you are a grown-up making bad choices for yourself, it's another to make bad choices for the kids, choices that could doom them to lifelong poor health.
Make the right choice today!

Day 2~~~~ What I Wore..

mmmmmmm... What I wore?
Head to toe ke?
Lets see...
First of all, I wore shawls, and still is... I love shawls!

These are my collection of shawls, owwhhhh, ade macam kedai tudung? Hehe..
Oh please don't judge me, most of these are also gifts from friends (",)
For instance, on the right here is my favorite shawl, a brown inner and a brown floral shawl, a gift from Yla, a friend here.
Eh serious best shawl ni, I wore it many times before!!!

The lady in purple next to me is Yla (",)

Secondly, I wore make up but I don't like heavy make up, the kind that makes you look like a doll!!
I prefer it light and natural (",)
My choices were always Maybelline and Body Shop since long long time ago, these were always my favorite brands.
And I never really wear lipstick, just Lip ice and it is always a must in my bag!

Thirdly, Clothes!
I Love Fashionable clothes! I don't chose any particular brand or go for branded clothes but I just wear whatever that looks nice, lovely and affordable. In short I love to mix and match!
Whatever nice clothes I found on sales, I grabbed it, sometimes things that seemed a bit impossible to wear, but really really cheap.
For instance, I found this short, maroon transparent top, I bought it, kept in my wardrobe for a while and later found this long stripy top, nice, it covers my bottom but a bit tight but cheap! I bought it and later at home I rummaged my wardrobe, and noticed this transparent top again and put them together.

Tadaaaaaaaaaa....
Not bad kan? Eventually it looks fashionable yet it costed me not more than 10 euros!

This one here too, a short black cardigan with roses, a skirt??? Gile ke ape pakai skirt.. haha..
I mixed and matched...
It turned out...
not bad at all, once I put it on, it looked like a long Muslimah T-shirt only a lil bit trendy hehe..

Mixed and matched...

And this too...

A short red.... mmmmm cardigan ke jacket, ntah la, but very very cheap..
I grabbed it, mix and match with existing clothes at home...
Hasilnya...

Like this... hehe...
One thing bout me, I love lace fabric so much.
Kain lace bukan pakai waktu kawen je, anytime pun bole tau...  (",)

And lastly, I wore jeans all the time, my preference: boot cut.
Tu je la kot...
Shoes, I'll share in shoes section later hehehe..
Till later, tata..

From my HEART....

This shall be short and precise heheh..
I have so many stories to tell, so many things to share, but I'm currently in the mood for piano and reading...
Not writing...
But I do have something important to write here...
I have encountered a few things on Facebook about how some people found it annoying for a Malay Blogger to write in English, and these persons mentioned things like how some of us made some grammatical mistakes in his or her posts, and yet still wanna write in English.
mmmmmmm...
I assumed that person was referring to no one in particular, it was just a general statement..
But, it did occur to me that maybe I'm also annoying to some people for writing in English here..
And forgive me, I'm sure I've done some grammatical errors as well!!

But....
There's also some people who had requested for me to continue writing in English, maybe I've done errors yeah, my English is not perfect, I'm still learning, and whenever I write, sometimes, words don't just flow like rivers in my head, I still have to seek help from Mr. Google, or check out online Dictionaries for things I'm not so sure of..

By writing in English, I know I've broadened my audience, though there were errors, I believed people could still understand my stories..
Right??

And, yes my English isn't perfect, but isn't it through practice that I could make it perfect?
Writing in English here is my practice...
It is also a way for me to improve English..

So again, I apologize for any mistakes made in my writing, and to those who found my blog enjoyable, inspiring, etc etc...
I'm glad, really really glad and I'll continue to write...
From my Heart..

Piano cover by me, this is an Indonesian song, I've got a request from someone that I should replay this song with no background noise, so here it is...
So many people are into this song, and yes the melody is lovely (",)

And this one is my latest cover, Hold My Hand by Maher Zain, I just Love Maher Zain's song, but never really tried his songs before on Piano because I thought it's hard to play, but actually Nope, Maher Zain's song are among the easiest, they repeat the same chords over and over again, within one day, I've finished it..
Hope you all like it, Enjoy!!

"Now we share the same bright sun, the same round moon,
Why don't we share the same LOVE?...."

Our Purpose....

Ehem... I'm about to give a speech here :D

Ok, 1st of all, a friend tagged me in a post today on Facebook so I could give a little opinion on something...
mmmmm....
About being a housewife and at the same time a Bachelor Degree holder..
Ok, from my point of view, I mean being a housewife myself and at the same time a Degree holder, I would say this :

If you find yourself in these situation :
You have a degree, you have a family, children, and a responsible husband who provides everything that you and your kids need, then ask yourself,
"Why do I want to work???"

If your answers are:
I have a loan to settle, and it's quite an amount which my husband can't afford to cover or you've just completed a Bachelor degree in Medicine or any other equivalent with which your presence in the working field would contribute so much to the Ummah, or you have this opportunity that you must grab, then I would say, go for it, provided your children will not be neglected!

But, if your anwers are:
I can't stand to stay at home with my children or being a housewife is humiliating, boring, or I can't bear the way people look at me when they knew I'm a housewife, or I have a Degree, it's such a waste if I just stay at home, or I need a friend then I must go out and work or anything like that,

Then I would say, ladies, what is our purpose of life? What is our purpose as a wife and a mother? Going out to work is not our responsibility but, taking care of our children is our responsibility.. don't stress yourself and strive to make yourself 'somebody' too much until you miss the whole purpose..

Facts that most of us rarely realized;

1~~ You are already 'somebody' when you chose to be a housewife.
2~~ You are more than just 'somebody' to your children.
3~~ It is not such a waste to have a Degree and yet you chose not to work, because knowledge and education is not a preparation for life but it is a life itself.
4~~ You have all the time at home with your children, you are educated, use your knowledge to teach your children at home, educate them so that they'll be a successful person fiddunya wal akhirah.
5~~ Isn't that what we should aim for as a mother? And most importantly, you are there all the time for your children when they need you. Isn't that really something?

I know it's not easy being a housewife in Malaysia, I was there, I know how it's like to feel so small when they give you this 'look' the moment they've discovered that you are a housewife..
The kind of 'look' that says,
'Oh, she's just a housewife, she must have not completed SPM!!'  Hahaha!

But then, so what??? Let them think whatever they wanna think, let them talk behind us, let them
Underestimate us, because after all, it's never between us and them, it's always between us and God..
Our missions in life is, to fulfill our responsibilities, to have God's blessings, to give as much love and joy as we can to our loved ones, to give the best for our children and to make them a successful person fiddunya wal akhirah, so that someday they could contribute to the Ummah.
Life is too short, live it wisely and always always be thankful with what you have...

Ps: To Siti Hajar, saya ada PTPTN yg perlu di bayar, cuma jumlah nye sangat sedikit hehehe ;)

If You Could See Me Now...

Mmmmmm.. Something to share here..
I'm currently reading this, this was a gift from a nice friend, Izu :)
Thanx Izu, really really appreciate it...
I don't know if she has read this before, but this book is seriously interesting!
And really is my cup of tea hehehe..

It's about a woman named Elizabeth who'd been abandoned by her mother when she was only a child in her endless search for freedom.. In the beginning, her mother would returned home once in a while, and Elizabeth would wait endlessly for that moment to come, and at the same time racked her brain for something, anything which would make her mom stay, something her mom would love so much that she would never leave again..
It had never occured to her that she should be that SOMETHING...
Sob sob sob...
Oh believe it or not, I got all emotional, and this time around I no longer laughed like an idiot in the middle of the night, but I got tears run down my cheeks!!
Ok, ok, call me an emotional freak :)
But that part of the story really breaks my heart..

And then later, her mother gave birth to a baby sister and not long after that she'd left for good, leaving Elizabeth with a brooding father, who'd sat by the fireplace all the time reading news paper but never turned the page hehe, and a baby sister she had to take care of..

So, Elizabeth grew up to be someone who believed that letting someone in her heart would only make her fragile and it would not do her any good.. She'd blocked her heart from any sorts of emotional feelings toward others...

But then, enters Luke in her life, her sister's son, (her sister has somehow turned into a psycopath and always wanders around that she had no idea how she had gotten herself pregnant!!)

And also enters Ivan, Luke's invisible best friend :D
Is this best friend really exist? Or just Luke's imagination? Either way, this Ivan is about to make a difference in their life...
And Elizabeth was about to discover what she had been missing all along...

Nevertheless, I haven't finished reading this book, I'm only about 1/3 and already it's hard for me to put it down.

With a touch of a fairytale, this book is a must read!!
And for those who's been wondering,
'What to read next??'
This is the answer!!!

PS: Anyway, in case you don't already know, Cecilia Ahern is the No.1 bestselling author of 'PS, I Love You.'

Housewife heaven :P

A steaming hot coffee and a novel...

*****Siggggghhhhh.....****
What else should I want..

This is what I call a 'Housewives Heaven' ngeh ngeh..
No worries, no pressure, no dateline, no meetings, no rushing... :D

By the way, this is another delicious page-turner by Sophie Kinsella, catchy and of course hilarious!!!http://www.emocutez.com

And since it's winter and 6.30pm is already Isya, and at 9pm, already feels like midnight, so everyone sleeps early too..
And since I've turned into sort of a disciplined mommy (konon2 laaa ngeh ngeh),
my reading time is set to only before I go to sleep, on the bed, with only a tiny lamp switched on..
So, I ended up laughing like an idiot in the middle of the night hehehe!!

Ehem.. of course there's a loophole, though I've said reading time is only before I go to sleep, I've decided that is only aplicable when I haven't gotten to the climax of the story :D

Seriously, if you are a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella, then this is a must read!!
And even if you are not a fan of her, you still should read this, it's really really nice!

mmmmmm.... ok, just a lil bit more, this is my latest piano cover, as I've said before, this past week had been a 'Lagu-lagu basi mode', so this is the first lagu basi I've played, not so successfully though.. the ending was a bit huru hara :P

Anyway, Enjoy!!

Sape yang tengah jiwang bercinta masa lagu ni Top dulu, suka lah tew hehehe...

Ok, lastly, came across this yesterday,

"Kemudian sampaikan khabar gembira kepada mereka yang beriman dan beramal soleh, bahawa bagi mereka syurga-syurga yang dihiasi oleh sungai-sungai yg mengalir. Setiap kali mereka mendapat rezeki dari buah-buahan di dalam syurga, mereka mengatakan,
"Rezeki ini adalah rezeki yang telah diberikan kepada kami sebelum ini"
Mereka mendapat rezeki yang serupa tetapi berlainan hakikatnya.."
(Surah Al-Baqarah: ayat 25)

It occurs to me that in heaven, we'll actually have the same kind of life we have now on earth, we'll have the same things we have now, whatever we love to have and already have, we will have it there again.. only in heaven, it's far far better, far happier, with no more tests, no more worries etc etc.. it's unimaginably beautiful...
So, lets work for it ;)
