After a while of not in the mood to write, today I have to write this...

It's been a hectic week for me, plus the kids... oh my...

They were so loud everyday that sometimes I think they were about to bring the whole place down...

But that's not my major problem..

The kids fighting all the time is my major problem..

Afeef is an exceptional, this fighting often occurs between Fatini and Aleena.. 

I often got too tired to respond to any of the complain,

"mama mama mama!!! Aleena buat Fatini..." sambil nangis2...

and 5 minutes later...

"mama mama.. kakak buat Aleena..." smbil nangis2...

on and on and on...

Sometimes, when I was too tired, I would just ignore them.. and Fatini was really frustrated that sometimes she said...

"Aleena buat Fatini tapi mama biar je...."

Owwwhhh.. that hurts and disturbing...

Am I a terrible mom ???

Ok, ok... I have to figure out a way to solve this...

I reminisced bout my childhood days..

Yeah, they were times when I got angry with my mother for 'doing nothing' when my other siblings hurt me, phisically or mentally...

Back then I didn't understand why did she do that? Didn't she love me?

Ok, I used to believe that she loved all my other siblings but not me.. that kind of thing you know??

Now, being a mother myself, I understood perfectly why my mother did that.. 

It's because she was tired and weary...

And I remember another story from someone very close to me...

This person said that, he'd experienced something like that, his elder brother had once hit him and his mom did nothing...

It' very disturbing and not a healthy thing, because the memory of it remains...

So, finally, I've come up with a solution..

When either of them complain, I wouldn't get angry at anyone anymore...

All I did was, I asked what happened, and then I took her in my arm, kiss the area which hurts, and show my deepest concern and sympathy bout her pain, which usually not much of a physical but mentally.. (you know, sakit hati dengan adik or sakit hati dgn kakak... hehe)

So, after she had calm down a bit, I would scold the one responsible for creating the fight, and coax her not to do it again.. 

In the end, no one hurts and everyone is happy.. 

And i'm happy too hehehe

So, that's all what it takes, show that you care... :)

Berjaya jugak...

Aleena dah officially wean off for almost 2 weeks now...

Hoooraayyy!!!!!

Memang lemon la rahsianya...

Memang die terus tak nak susu mama the moment die rasa lemon tu, tapi in the beginning problem jugak sebab die meragam malam2, walaupun dia tau cik B mama dah tak sedap, tapi die tak bole terima kenyataan tu huhu..

Jenuh jugak for 3 nights Aleena menangis malam smpai la tertido sendiri.. I almost gave up jugak, sedih tengok die camtu.. but, I was also very determined to wean her off..

Finally, I knew what she wanted, die just nak gentel2 cik B hehehehe..

Bole camtu?

Sambil minum susu botol, sambil gentel2 hehehe..

Ayat baru dia,

"Nak susu botol tapi nak pegang mama.."

hehehe..

Comel je..

Ape pun, semua nye dah selesai, she sleeps so well at night now, tapi kena makan kenyang2 and sebotol susu sblom tido dulu.. baru la lena smpai pagi..

Thank you Allah for making it easy for both of us :)

Nampak tu? dah boleh cross sungai sendiri tak kan la nak menyusu kat mama lagi kan? hehehe

Aleena oh Aleena...

It's been a while since my last update...

It's been a hectic week, with friends came over to our place, and us went to visit Speyer a small town nearby, and it's school holiday, so I spend most of my times with the kids :)

And another huge problem i'm facing right now is...... Aleena....

fuhhhhh..

She just turned two...

Trying so hard to stop her from breastfeeding...

I must say, she gave me the hardest time for this...

I've been trying for a week now, but she's just so stubborn hehehehe!!!

With Afeef, it was so easy, then again, everything was easy with Afeef :)

I had put some cough medicine on my... you know, and straight away he'd refused to feed on my breast.. it was that easy, and He was 2yrs and 2 months..

With Fatini was a bit difficult, but I was pregnant with Aleena when she was only 1year and a half, so somehow she'd sensed the reduced in milk production, so she prefers bottle fed.

With Aleena, I had put some medicine which taste horrible on my.... you know, and she'd refused to feed directly temporarily, she'd say,

"Susu mama tak sedap" hehe..

But, problem is, she started having trouble sleeping at night, she ended up staying up for an hour or so at night and crying endlessly..

I gave up, and let her have it but told her that only at night my milk is tasty hehehe..

During day time, when it's time for her nap, she'd request for 'susu mama' and I would put the medicine on and she'd not feed and end up sleeping on my lap whilst me rocking her.

This worked for a few days, until yesterday...

Yesterday, she didn't care and just feed directly with the medicine on, walaupun muka berkerut kerut menahan rasa ubat tak sedap, still she kept on sucking..

I laughed and laughed... ***sigh****

Stubborn Aleena....

I did some online search for this, and found another method...

A lemon... hehehe

A lemon on my........???!!!

We'll see, 90% says this worked just fine for them, if it doesn't work for Aleena , well maybe I'm gonna have to rack my brain for another method, or let her feed till the age of 5 hehehe..

Oh no, i'm not gonna let that happen !!

Well, that explains also why I have less time blogging or facebooking or anything doing with the computer, because she just culdn't see me sitting in front of my lappy, she'd come on my lap first, start tugging at my shirt, and start 'merengek'...

"Aleena ngantuk..." (walaupun baru je bangun tido)

Mama pun cakap,

"Ngantuk tido la, mama buai" (sambil mama pun rocked her back and forth)

"Tak nak buai..."

"Abis tu nak ape?"

"Nak susu dalam mama..." hehehe

Aleena's 2nd Birthday Party :)

Last Wednesday 28/Mac was Aleena's birthday and as mentioned in my previos post, we were to celebrate it on Saturday with some close friends..

So, this is the story of Aleena's 2nd Birthday...

This is the cake, this time I've made a simple vanilla cake hehe...

I even forgot to buy the candles hahaha..

She's only 2 years old, no request for any special cake unlike Afeef who'd requested for a Spongebob cake for his next birthday and Fatini requested for a mermaid cake for her next birthday...

Haih, macam2...

Wait till Aleena is a bit older, what kind of a cake wuld she request for??? huhu..

And I'm gonna have to rack my brain at each of their Birthdays hehe..

So, table is set, what I've cooked for the day...

Mee goreng mamak, apam beras and bread with sosej and chicken curry fillings (not in this photo sbb tengah masak dlm oven hehe)

Overall, I've received compliments for all dishes heheh.. (mode bangga )

And, lets see who came to our little party :)

Mike was the first to arrived, he even brought a nice present for Aleena, of coz la kan, diorang kan kamceng haha..

See, that blue wrapped box with a teddy bear's nose poking from it was a gift from Mike.. nicely wrapped, so sweet :)

And.... adegan yang tak sanggup di lihat hahaha..

Dan lagi hehe... tak tahan, dok atas riba Mike lagi ok, and Mike had to eat with Aleena on his lap!!!

And he didn't mind a bit... He seemed to enjoy it :D

And also Lily and Victor arrived shortly after Mike, this was their first time meeting each other, they were suppose to meet each other at Fatini's birthday last time, but Mike couldn't make it on time because he had to work, and this time he made it, even though Mike's Deutsch isn't so good just yet, but he gets along so well with Lily and Victor. :)

In fact, he'd even looked forward to meet someone who he can practice his Deutsch with..

So, there you go Mike, amazed with his ability to speak and he'd only learn Deutsch by himself :)

So just imagine, an American, a Deutsche and a Malaysian when they get together hehe..

There was a mixture of English, Deutsch and Malaysisch hehe...

Victor even suggested that we get together every weekend, and spend half an hour speaking in English and half an hour speaking in Deutsch hehe...

Great idea!!!

Victor and Mike are so full of sense of humor, Oh my, we had a great laugh!!!!

And......

Cake time :)

Look at Aleena, she's actually looking at Mike.. haha.. Can't take my eyes off you??? hehe

Happy Birthday my Dear Girl :)

And.. mmmm.. not just yet the time to open presents!!!!!!

We were supposed to have a session for this, but they just couldn't wait hehe.. while parents were still busy chatting, they quietly unwrapped one present, the one's from Mike..

I guess that visible nose just got them attracted to it hehe..

I heven't even snapped any photos of all presents..

So here it is, all three presents..

That only gift left fully wrapped was from Lily and Victor :)

That huge box with a baby doll and a stroller was from us :)

Look at this, they were fighting each other over this little stroller and a baby doll..

Oh my...

Fatini, Fatini, last time she didn't even let Aleena touched her Birthday present!! But, when Aleena's turn came, suddenly everything had to be shared... ***sigh***

They were so busy fighting that they forgot one present was still left unopened...

And...

Oh my Oh my...

I got a shock seeing this !!!

Fatini was soooo excited, jumping up and down..

Wanna know why???

We've been wanting to buy this doll for her, she has been wanting it so badly too, it's the latest product from Baby Alive, the commercial was all over the TV, so she had been asking for it, and I told her, she can have it, only after she learnt to go the toilet herself, learnt to put things back in order after she'd used it, and a few other conditions, and she has been working on all these conditions and almost 90% succeeded, and two days before the Birthday party I was already surveying and comparing the best prices for this doll and was so close to buy it...

And look.. there it is...

Ini la nama nya rezeki :)

Sungguh2 la rezeki Fatini, even though the gift was meant for Aleena, but it so happen that she didn't have so much interest for it, (that's because she loves the one's from Mike haha)

So the Baby doll belongs to Fatini haha..

Well, this is me explaining to Lily how badly Fatini wanted this doll :)

mmmmm... This is all there is for this Birthday story...

Overall, it was a great great day...

I know I've said this many times, but last Saturday was also one of the best wekend in Deutschland..

We had so much fun, great laughs, precious, memorable and unforgettable moments...

I know, I'll definitely miss all these someday...

The thought of going back to Malaysia and leave all these wonderful friends makes my eyes water..

On the day for us to leave later, I know I'll definitely cry..

I'll miss them and Deutschland too..

Though I beieve that perhaps everything wont end there, they would visit us in Malaysia, but, it's not gonna be the same and not gonna be as much as we are seeing each other now...

Well, what can I do, friends come and go...

We meet and we part..

That's part of life,

And...

Life's like that....

Ps: There's more to come, insyaAllah.... We have planned for so many activities together at different places and this time around, Mike is gonna join us too...

Sunday's story, Gartenschau again, with golfing activities and sun bathing hehe, that'll in my next post :)

Colors of Spring... :)

It is Fruhling (Spring).....

The most beautiful season of all...

Flowers are everywhere...

On the grass, on the trees, by the roadsides, they are everywhere...

So so so so beautiful..

Can you imagine how small the basket is???

She said, "Look mama!! Pawer...." (that's how Aleena pronounces flower) hehe

And our daily routine in conjunction with Spring season and also School Holiday,

And look, there's also soft toys for children to play with :)

And nampak tu, Ratu buku betul hehehe... the other kids her age were busy playing, but she was just totally engrossed in her book :)

Dan lagi.... hehehe

Day 2 @ library, and still.....

She just loves books...

I hope to maintain this passion she has for books :)

Overall, for me, Spring is the most wonderful time of the year, the changes from shorter daytime to a longer one...

From a dark, gloomy winter to a sunny and bright day...

From an icy cold to a comfortable heat....

The changes was just great, makes me feel new everyday...

Makes me feel alive everyday too :)

And lastly...

mmmmm... I know I know, it should be the other way around, I should be painting this during winter, and start with all the colorful flowers during Spring, silly me hehehe..

Never mind, I paint something depending on my mood and regardless of the weather :)

Nevertheless, I'm very satisfied with this one :)
