The best moment by far...

This was in March 2017. This was by far the best experience I had since the day we got back to Malaysia.
It's our first own home!!!!
The best part was setting it up, decorating it, there was this feeling, warm feeling, excitement that still lingers till today.. oh I love it so much...

This is part of the kitchen, I love the long window..

That door leads to the downstairs bathroom located in the kitchen...

We often came here before it was fully ready, checking it out, dreaming and planning on how to design the kitchen πŸ˜…

This is the living room area...

We got a corner lot, so we have more windows and the house is really bright... πŸ˜ƒ

That door leads to the kitchen.
And next to the door on the right is the dining area.

Tadaaaa...
This was when all the wiring work had just completed. The furniture arrived earlier than expected and we had tu put them all aside for all the wiring work to be completed.

Hmmmmm.... This is the dining area.
I chosed this pendant light!
It transmits three different lighting, white light, yellow light and a mixture of white and yellow light..
It's really lovely!
I fell in love with it at first sight!!! 😍
And please note, if you notice that curtain, I was the one who made that curtain hihi..
No bluffing, I sew them myself!
Ok, not that I want to show off or anything, but, yeah I'm quite proud of all the things I made myself 😁

There the first step of setting up the dining area.
That's hubby, patiently applying the wall paper. It's not an easy job really, Oh I'm so proud of hubby, I can really rely on him..
He did a great job!! 😘

Tadaaaaa....!!!
This is the final results of the dining room...
Nice huh?
Alhamdulillah, we wouldn't have made it this nice and this satisfying without the blessings and wills of Allah SWT...

The piano area. πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–
Please don't mind the rolled carpet there πŸ˜…

There the living room...
As you see, we have no TV, so the wall remain empty as if something is missing, but it's ok, as long as we don't lose our time watching too much TV... πŸ₯΄

Ok, this is what my mother used to call a spoiler of the house. You see, the area underneath the staircase used to be a mess!!!
My mom said it really spoils the beauty of the whole house.!
And it remained the way it was until quite recently...

Just about a few months ago, we called the person incharged in cabinet making, and he built this beauty... masyaAllah, now the house is perfect, alhamdulillah... ❤❤❤

Nice huh?

This is the kitchen decorating in progress...

This is the dry kitchen...

This is the wet kitchen and I decided on having one mini bar in the kitchen so I can lepak there with hubby in the morning when all the kids have gone to school..
It's important to have a table like this in the kitchen as we mothers would probably spend most of our times in the kitchen...
Mmmm right??

This is how the mini bar area looks like today. I put some artificial plants there to make it looks more lovely...
Planning on having a small TV there, to be hanged on the wall just below the clock.
My own personal TV, a smart TV that only allows You Tube.
The purpose is only to watch ceramah 😁
Nice idea huh?

Ok, I'm not gonna share how the whole second floor looks like, let me just share how the girl's room looks like because actually I wanna show you what a nice bunk bed we have here.
Well yeah, they ended up sleeping together on the bottom bed nowadays. Fatini was the one overly excited about the bunk bed at first that she enthusiastically wanted to sleep on the upper bed.
Yeah that happened for a while anyway, then she started losing interest on the upper bed and started sleeping on the lower bed instead together with Aleena...
So now, the upper bed remain empty....

Ahah... in case you are wondering what this is, this is the garden ofcourse!
We got corner lot, so we have quite a huge garden. Enough for me anyway...
We now have papaya, mango and mulberry trees which started producing fruits quite generously these past few months 😌
Alhamdulillah..

So, those were photos from a few years back. Now after a lil bit of rearrangement, and some addition of new stuffs, the interior looks slightly different i guess...

I added a new matching carpet in the living room...
It appears more lovely right?

Still, no TV after 3 years here...
Strictly NO TV!!!

I added a new matching carpet at the piano area too...
It's a furry carpet hihi...

Mmmm.... something is missing here...
I think this area needs a coffee table right???
Ok, that would be next on my list innshaAllahπŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

Ok, now that we have a comfortable home, alhamdulillah, so what are we gonna do with it?
Let's make something beneficial out of it..
Aaaaahhh yes, I had organized many usrah sessions here.
There in the above picture, are all my usrah group members, they are my neighbours, there are more of them actually, but some are not present hihi...
Yeah alhamdulillah, there are many housewives in my neighborhood πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

And, not just usrah, I have another group of Quran class, there at the end of the table is my Quran teacher. We call her kak Rozeta. We meet regularly, once a week for Quran lesson, and most of the time, the class is held at kak Rozeta's place.
Sometimes, we have the class at my place. 😍😍😍
That's one of the purpose of having a comfortable home right?

And also, there was one Ramadhan, probably last year's Ramadhan, hubby invited his students for an iftar at our place.
Alhamdulillah...
Memorable moment... 😚

And also, Fatini's friends often came over too... I conducted a class for them once a week, I taught them English, Maths and Science.
May Allah grant me perseverance and determination to keep doing good deeds and to keep seeking knowledge ameen...
Alhamdulillah for everything
 πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°
The key to happiness is to make other people happy 😘
As a conclusion, moving into our own home was one of the best thing that had happened since the day we got back to Malaysia.
It's even better than our life in Deutschland, though I still miss DE sometimes, some moments were just unforgettable and will remain as it is, safely lock in my heart forever and ever.... hihi
Till later, salam...
❤❤❤

I will never forget this one conversation I had with my 14 year old son, Afeef.
He said his ustaz in school told him that "teenage life is full of problems, difficulties and obstacles, and if you find yourself in a difficult situation and it is too overwhelming, please turn to Allah for guidance and peace. Get up in the middle of the night 3am-5.30am is the best time. Pray tahajjud, solat hajat, and believe me, your life will be at ease... "
That's what his ustaz said.
And then Afeef continued, he said, after all that is done, but still you find your heart and head in a mess, the problem is then lies within yourself. You have too many negative thoughts!
You need to think positive mama!
Okay okay, he directed that to me, because currently I am in a difficult situation and my Afeef here is always the best person to confide in other than my mom and hubby. But of course, different issues needed to be highlighted to each of them hihi.

Ps: no wonder lately, I noticed that he hardly missed getting up in the middle of the night, praying. Sometimes I watched him quietly with tears in my eyes. I'm blessed with a great son. I compared myself to him when I was 14 years old, at that time, I didn't even complete the 5 times prayer a day let alone getting up in the middle of the night for tahajjud!!!!
I am blessed...
Thank you Allah. 😢😢😢

Hubby's First Project :)

He always wanted to be given the opportunity and trust to do it himself, you know like a shoe rack, shelves, under the stair closet.
Ok, why don't you start with a hamster cage first before you venture into something huge like a closet under the stairs? I told him that.
Arggghhh I just can't take the risk of allowing an amateur to work on the  closet!
What if he spoils it?

Ok, so he took the challenge.
He did it!
I think it is a very satisfying hamster cage, impressive for a beginner, and it is fully DIY, the kids painted it themselves, great job everyone!
We just bought the hamster today, we named it Ciku.
Tadaaaaa......

One step closer?

Assalamualaikum wbt...
Haaaaaa it's been too long...
3 years to be exact....
Finally it's ready...
 Yeay!!

One step closer, I would say? Or a few more steps perhaps?
A new and real beginning for us, since the day we left Deutschland for good.
Our first own home since the day we got married.
Which means, 13 years of marriage and we've been living in rented houses from one place to another, and finally, our own home!!!!
So excited!!!!!
Oh by the way, last tuesday was our 13th anniversary, I would consider moving in to this new house is an anniversary gift.
Alhamdulillah for this oppurtunity.
Keep smiling and be grateful.
After every hardships there'll be an ease..

Wednesday, December 28, 2016

It's been 3 years since we left Deutschland for good and I admit that all these while, my obsession of the life I once had there never quiet leave me.
It has always been in me that sometimes I forgot that there are far other better things in life that I should cherish.
If I were still in DE, and had to go through all these, I would definitely be more devastated because I wouldn't have my whole big family with me!
I just realized, how lucky I am to still have my mom, my husband and all family members regardless whether their just in laws or biologically related. Their support and comforting words always made me stronger.

Lesson number three:
Be grateful with what we have even when we are down with a huge test.

***********

The biopsy results was ready on wednesday, 16th of November 2016.
Together, me and hubby went to the hospital again to meet the doctor.
Like I mentioned before, I had not even felt the slightest fear nor worry...
I was fully prepared for any possibilities...
And.....
Alhamdulillah, the results turned out to be a huge relief....
The tumor was noncancerous however it was precancerous.
The doctor said, it should be removed as soon as possible. She referred me to the general surgeon there at the same hospital.
We met the surgeon, had a long discussion, and set the date for the surgery. About two weeks away..
Unfortunately, the surgeon was only capable of doing an open surgery while me and hubby had something else in mind. We wanted to go for laparoscopic surgery (can google that up if don't already know).
We planned to seek for a second opinion from our doctor in Pekan.
We headed back to our home in Pekan later that evening. The next important thing we all looked forward to:
Afeef's UPSR result was going to be out the next day...

Eventhough I was down with a low grade fever since the day I was discharged from the hospital, and felt a bit weak on the day when UPSR result was out, I still made it to school! I wanted to be there for Afeef, regardless of the result.
Hubby took some times off work too to join us :)

I told Afeef many times even before UPSR began, that whatever his UPSR result would be, he would always be a straight A's person to me :)

That was because of all the efforts he had put in, and most importantly, how he had spent time helping his friends who were weak in certain subjects.
His willingness to help others always touched my heart to the deepest :)
I learned from Afeef that 6As wasn't what we were after. There're far other better things to cherish in Afeef's first journey to a huge exam. If he gets 6As, it's a bonus, but what he had learnt along the way, was all that matter.

We gathered outside the school hall together with all other parents, and eventually, the result was ready.
Afeef got 3A3B!!
Alhamdulillah, so proud of him.
And so, we celebrated at a nearby restaurant. It was one of the greatest moment after being sick for a while.

I was down with a fever again that night, and I could not do much except lying down and watched my kids prepared their school uniforms themselves. They ironed and hanged their uniforms neatly, they folded their clothes and arranged them, and the next morning, when hubby was still at the mosque for Subuh prayer, they even prepared their own breakfast huhu....

How sad was I, but on the bright side, they did everything themselves!!
Isn't that great?

********

Friday morning the next day, I felt too weak to make it to the clinic, but I needed to consult the doctor regarding this surgery I'm gonna have. It mattered to hubby that we seek the best treatment that we could. As for me, I felt almost like giving up, I felt like I didn't want to seek anyone's opinion anymore, just let it be... if an open surgery was what I need, so be it...

Hubby took me to the clinic anyway, and how grateful I was for that...
One of the doctor's friend happened to be a colorectal surgeon, and guess what??
Not only that he's a colorectal surgeon, but also he'd done many laparoscopic surgery in the past, oh just what we had been looking for!!
I was so glad...
Our doctor in Pekan even gave the surgeon a call and informed him of our situation, and he even made a referral letter, it was great, it wouldn't have been that easy if it wasn't for Allah's help :')

We headed back to KL that evening, it was Friday,18th of November.
We planned to meet the surgeon on Wednesday the following week...

********
Wednesday came without me realizing it...
There we were, again just me and hubby at Darul Ehsan Medical Centre Shah Alam to meet the surgeon for the first time.
He was a quite convincing kind of a person, calm, and very positive. Everything he told us made me feel more relaxed and confident to go through this surgery.
So he set the date for the surgery, just about one week away...
Because the tumor was precancerous, so we shouldn't delay, that's what the doctor said...
It was perfect for me as it was set on the first week of the year end school holiday.
I felt relief, at least I didn't have to worry about the kids and school.

We headed back to our home in Pekan that evening, because of this surgery thing, I forgot to make sure the date for Award giving ceremony for Afeef and Fatini. Too bad... we missed it...
For the first time since my kids started schooling, this award thing didn't really matter anymore...

********

The remaining days before the surgery, I spent them making a lot of doa and solat hajat, I was nervous...
But I wasn't scared....

Looking back, how Allah had arranged everything so perfectly for me, masyaAllah....
I couldn't expressed enough gratitude to Allah for there are no words to describe how grateful I was...

"If you were to count the favors of Allah, you will never be able to count them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.."
(An-Nahl: 18)

"Seek help through patience and prayer. Certainly, Allah is with those who are patient..." (Al-Baqarah: 153)
:') :') :')
