Asthma.... :(
Poor Aleena... My big baby...

This was almost two weeks ago, she has fully recovered now. But, having had no experience dealing with an asthmatic child, I would say.........

      I PANICKED!!!!!!

Wow, a lot of things happened since we reached Malaysia huh?

Alhamdulillah for all these tests... There's always something to learn from each of them.

"So verily, with the hardship there is relief..."  Surah Al-Inshirah 5,6.

So, what's the relief?

1~~ I've managed to raise some....... Actually, quite a huge amount of money as Duit Raya for all kids at PASTI!!
Weeeeeee.... Super duper excited! Me and a few other people are working on this, hopefully to see those innocent faces smile with delight this Aidilfitri... InsyaAllah.

2~~ Afeef got number 2 in class!!! Wow!! During his early school days here, they labelled him as someone 'slow' and they said his level was like a first grade student :(
But slowly, Afeef made it to the top. So proud of Afeef coz he proved them wrong!
He receives compliments from his teachers almost every day now ;)

3~~ The kids have got new bicycles each!!! A gift from someone... Alhamdulillah... Rezeki The Kids :)
This means so much to them especially Fatini who loves cycling so much!!!!!

Oh... Where's Afeef??
Heheheh... he's still not ready for this, it's been almost a month now after he had undergone circumcision, but still... he's just not ready for any outdoor activities.
It's ok, take your time Afeef :)

4~~ We've finally got back our car after months of staying in the workshop. Yahooooooooo! Alhamdulillah, it looks just like how it was before :)
Errrrr... Problem is, I don't feel like driving it anymore, I kinda enjoy driving this old car, it makes me feel like I belong here in Pekan Pahang. You know, most people here pick up their kids from school only with motorbikes, some with only bicycles.

Ok, for sharing today, an ayat which we should always bear in mind but often forgotten:

“… And for those who fear Allah, He (ever) prepares a way out, And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine. And if any one puts his trust in Allah, sufficient is (Allah) for him. For Allah will surely accomplish his purpose: verily, for all things has Allah appointed a due proportion. (Surat at-Talaq, 65:2-3)

Lastly...

My favorite place again...
Cantik kan?
Always...

This is also 'Nikmat' from Allah SWT... To see, to feel the beauty...
MasyaAllah, SubhanAllah...

Teacher's Day 2014..

Assalamualaikum...
Back to Teacher's day a few weeks ago, as an appreciation to all teachers at PASTI, we gave one whole cake to them. It was a Secret Recipe's Chocolate Indulgence.

It was Friday, and both Fatini and Afeef also gave their teacher a bar of chocolate from Germany.
Fatini said her teacher jumped with delight whilst saying:
"Ya Allah Ya Allah, chocolate dari German!"
"Cikgu suka sangat!"

I adore Fatini's teacher, she's very kind :) The kind of person you'd feel warm at heart just by looking at her.

Three days later, one of the cook there came to Fatini and said:

"Was it your mom who gave the Secret Recipe cake last Friday?"
After Fatini replied 'yes', she said:
"Mahal cake tu, makcik tak pernah beli.."
"(That cake is expensive, I've never bought it..)"

Alahai... My eyes watered.... Some people really can't afford it.. Not even a slice of cake...

And what about us? How much have we spent on unnecessary stuffs?

"Which favors of your Lord would you deny?"

I'm sooo happy and thankful and grateful that Fatini is now surrounded with friends who can't afford to buy expensive stuffs. This way she'd learn to be grateful with what she has...
And this PASTI that she went to, is built under low budget, with low fees, and perhaps the teachers are underpaid too...
But they are so sincere in giving knowledge to the children. I could see it..

I guess sending her to PASTI was one of the best decision I've ever made though I was so reluctant at first, given the poor condition of the place, but I'm glad that I followed my instinct ;)

And Fatini now loves to give, she said her friends can't afford to buy this and that and she wants them to have what she has.
So, from time to time I encouraged her to give something to her friends, stationaries, books etc etc..

Yesss... Like many said, there are far other better things there in other people's country. Like me, I can't stop comparing Germany and Malaysia, the schools, the people, the teachers, etc etc...
But, comparing and complaining won't solve the problems nor offer any solutions. Let's just start today showing good examples, things we've learned there in foreign countries.
After all, we are Muslims and we should be far better than them.
InsyaAllah...

BFF.......

They were best friends for.....
As long as they can remember.
He was 7 month old when she was born.
Then they grew up together, they didn't live together, but they would meet each other almost every wekend when they were little (",)

They looked forward to it every wekend!

That's why they became like this:

Awwwwwwww..... Sweet kan?

They were so close to each other, they were best friends, they were cousins, they were like brother and sister!!!
But....
They were then seperated, because we had to go to Germany.
And then they hadn't meet each other for a long time, but, when they meet again, they quickly hit it off!!!
Like they have never been separated!

I quietly took their photos together hehe..
They're as close to each other now as they were before. Nothing's changed. Only that she speaks London now and Afeef speaks German hehe..

And....

If 4 years ago there were only the TWO of them,
Now......

Mmmmmmmmmmm....

Mmmmmmmmmm....
Hehe..
There's supposed to be one more person in this pic, but she just refused to be in this photo hehe. It's hard to keep the kids to stand still for a photo shoot. **sigh**
So, there are actually 5 of them now!
Afeef, Aishah, Sarah (Aishah's sister), Fatini and Aleena.
Wow!

One thing remain the same:
Afeef and Aishah have always been best friends and Aishah is like Afeef's sister.... Errrrr...
Actually, she is Afeef's sister (",)
Aha...

I breastfed Aishah a few times when she was a baby. (",)

And, Aishah is like a daughter to me. During her stay at our place last school holiday, I've got nothing much to offer, you know, I'm just a housewife, I've got not so much money to buy her favorite toys, Barbie, My Little Pony, etc etc... What I could give her was a time together: making waffles, game, and an ear to listen to all her problems. We had such a great time together, and in the end, when school holiday was about to end, she said:

"I Love You So Much Aunty Na..."

Assalamualaikum wbt...

Ok la, this one will be short and brief as I don't have much time to write, I'm so occupied nowadays, and also I'm very sleepy right now hehe..

Today I'm one of the happiest mother on earth!

I picked Afeef up from school as usual today, and as usual too he would talk about his day, but today, he blurted out an extra special story:

He told me, he had an Israk Miraj talk in school today. He said, after the talk was over, there was a quiz, and there were 10 prizes to be won. And he said his friends were all crazy about the prizes except him.
And of course Afeef didn't win any, he didn't even try.
I asked why?

He said this:
"There's no need to win the prize, I've already won the best and biggest prize."
"Oh, really?? What's the prize then?" I asked.
Still confused, I thought he said he didn't even try?

He said: "Afeef dapat ilmu la, itu la hadiah paling besar.." (The knowledge itself)

Wow!
I was impressed! Amazed! This can't be from 10 year old, must be from his teachers or something?
But he said, nobody told him that, he thought of it himself. Wow....

Still in disbelief, I asked him to recap the talk.
Oh masyaAllah, he told me details ok.
Every details of Israk Miraj.
MasyaAllah...

This boy is special, and he is my son!!

"Which favors of your Lord would you deny...?" Surah Ar-Rahman.

That's not the end of the story just yet, after he finished with the Israk Mikraj story, he told me he received his grade for History test today. MasyaAllah again, he got an A for History!!!!

I couldn't believe it, only 4 people from his class got an A for History, and he is one of them and he's the only boy hehe...

MasyaAllah...
MasyaAllah...

I was driving and felt like I wanted to perform Sujud Syukur right there while driving!

Ya Allah, there's so much Allah has given us, are we grateful enough?
I may not have a career, a lot of money, and I wasn't a good student, nor daughter, and I've never felt so proud of anything until now.

I'm so proud of my kids! :D

Ok ok, time to sleep, tomorrow is the beginning of another school holiday.
Yahooooo!

The thing about being a housewife, anak2 cuti mama pun happy!
And, Afeef will have to go through the scariest day for him tomorrow.
 Nak kena 'sunat' hehehe...
Looks like this long holiday will just be at home....
And home is always the best place to be (",)

Till later, Salam...

A TrAgiC SuNDaY....

I thought I was going to die...

In that split seconds, I couldn't think much, the only thoughts whirling in my head were my kids, disbelief that what I feared so much all this while was actually happening to us and death.

One word escaped my mouth in that split seconds, and I remembered this so vividly:
"Astaghfirullahal'Adzim!!"
And I wasn't just saying it, I was screaming the word, repeatedly.

I thought I was going to die...
On the spur of the moment, I thought of death and I wanted Allah to forgive all my sins...

Oh my, it was all so terrifying...

Alhamdulillah.... Nothing happened to us... But it was terrifying enough...
It all happened within seconds, now I understand why some people described moments of accident as 'split seconds', some people described it as 'slow motion' and I think I've experienced both.. Huhu..

How it happened?
Hubby was driving on the right lane of a three lanes highway, we were heading to Kuala Lumpur after two nights stay in Hubby's hometown in Perak. We were only half an hour away from my mom's home in Gombak (our pit stop) when it started raining heavily, and he was driving within speed limit, but somehow as he was driving around a corner, I noticed the car infront of us starting to blur..
Sensing danger, I glimpsed at the speed my hubby was cruising at: 109km/h
I couldn't be wrong, because it was a digital speed reader.
Ok, he was driving within speed limit, so I didn't tell him to slow down, but within seconds, I couldn't see the car infront of us anymore and more water was splashing on the windscreen and I was about to tell him to "slow down, shouldn't be driving at this speed when it's raining, and I couldn't see a thing ahead of us..."
But.....
It was too late, the next thing I knew, we were heading towards the devider in the middle of the highway, and...
"Baaaannnnnnggggg!!!"

The car skidded, spun out of control, and came to a halt on the left lane.
Everything happened so fast, within seconds, but while the car was spinning, I remember experiencing the slow motioness of it... Weird.. But that's how I felt.
And it was terrifying, that's for sure.
We were spinning accross the three lanes highway, and what I couldn't get my mind off until today was the question:
"What if?"

WHAT IF there was a bus or a lorry or even a car heading at us at high speed while our car went out of control? WHAT IF that happened?? It could be more severe and any of us could have suffered a serious injury! Or it could turned out to be fatal!
But, non of that happened, Syukur alhamdulillah, Allah protected us! :')

"Ya Allah, ya Allah!" Those were Fatini's words when the car came to a halt.
The first thing I did was turn around and checked on them, and...
Ya Allah, I couldn't express how relieved I was at the sight of them, all ok, unhurt...
Not a single injury, even though Fatini and Aleena was crying terribly, and they were both so shaky. :(
Afeef was sleeping when the accident was about to occur but was awaken by the sound of the impact and he said he was confused and as the car went out of control, he'd knocked his head on the door..
But, again alhamdulillah, nothing serious happened, just a little bump on the head.

The next thing I noticed was the wreckage in front of us.. A little smoke, or perhaps mist from the rain??
I coudn't be so sure...
The next next thing I was aware of, was the possible danger we were exposed to, we were still on the highway though on the left lane, but still all the other cars were all speeding by, and....
I was really not ready for another shock, all I wanted was to get out of that highway and the car and hugged my kids tightly..

Ok ok, in that state of panick, we didn't know what to do, so when we've calmed down a bit, and resumed our self control, hubby moved the car forward just under the flyover where there were lots of motorcyclists waiting for the rain to stop to resume their journey.
One of the motorcyclists asked us to get out of the car as there were sparks of fire coming out from the engine. Ok, ok, so hurriedly I took the kids out of the car and ushered them to safety, and hubby made a call for help... Ohhhh... We were all sooooooo shaky.... Huhu...
And that's when I have my first look at the damage...

There....
Can you even tell what car is this?

Despite how relieved I was that no one was hurt, my heart wrenched with sadness at the sight of this :'(

Hubby used to refer to this car as:
"Your car.."  (",)
He let me drive this car everyday to pick the kids up from school, while he drives the smaller and older car, and I've always felt so proud of this. Proud to have a husband like him who always gives priorities to his wife and kid's comfortability :)

Hubby always wanted Proton as our first car, but I've always told him to get a good car because we'll be travelling a lot. And I've never regretted that we bought this Honda Civic. And after the accident, I couldn't agree more on choosing this car as our first car.
The car and its VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) system had helped us in some ways during the accident. After the impact and as the car went out of control, the VSA system took over and helped stabilized the car, and also helped to prevent overturned.
Of course, without Allah's will, even the best car on earth couldn't protect us, but, with some efforts and doa, insyaAllah, we can minimize unwanted disaster.
Right... ???

Nevertheless, alhamdulillah, we've escaped the accident UNHURT!!!
I couldn't ask for more, I don't care about the car....
I felt like, we've been given a chance. I'm thankful for that accident eventhough it was all so terrifying, but it really taught us a valuable lessons, and of course remind us that death could come anytime. As long as we are still breathing on this earth, we are actually given a chance, and sometimes we are not aware of all the chances Allah SWT has given us until it was all too late!
And it's not too late for us just yet...
So grab this chance while we still have them!

After the accident, a few people asked if we recite anything as a protection or have we made doa, and of course, frankly speaking, I've always feared accident, and on the road whether I was the one driving or hubby was the one, zikir or Quranic verses never leave my lips.
Sometimes I recite them nonstop!
The same thing happened last Sunday too, just moments before that accident, I was still reciting:

"حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ ۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ"
(Allah is all-sufficient for me. There is no god but Him. In Him I have put my trust. He is the Rabb of the Mighty Throne.)

But does this mean that nothing could ever happen to me?
And can I asked, "How could this happened?? I thought Allah would protect us? I've asked help from Allah SWT, again and again, but why didn't He helped?"
Should I say that???!!!!
No no no!

Not even a thought okay, let alone say it out loud....
Because, Allah SWT had actually helped, He's the best Protector, He had helped us survived the accident UNHURT!!
Not a single scratch nor wound.
And even though it was a traumatic experience for the kids, they've recovered pretty fast.

I put my trust in Allah always, the accident happened just as a reminder for us from Allah SWT, because He loves us, He wants us to think, to realise our mistakes, to bring us back on the right path...
The accident made me think, it made me think a lot, it made me want even more strongly now to be closer to Him more than ever before!
This worldly lives don't matter much anymore, and for the first time I really don't care about my life in KL Germany, It doesn't matter where I live my life, what matters is, how it ENDS...

Last two day's accident was a huge impact for me, and it changed me....
And us too...

Yesterday, I went to my favourite place again, I found serenity here....

I just sat on the grass staring at the sun, the kids weren't with me, I was alone, and I couldn't help crying, because...
I'm still alive!
I still have my chance to do lots and lots of Ibadah...
For the first time since we reached Malaysia, I felt so free, the suffocation and all the feelings of being trapped have all gone..
I felt so serene....

Though I have no idea when will death greet me, but last two days, I've experienced the moment when I actually thought my time has come and that really made the difference in my life. :'(
InsyaAllah...
May Allah SWT take us in the best way...

Till later, Salam...
