hahaha!!
I'm fully aware of afeef's 'choosy' attitude when it comes to food. he is definitely a fussy eater. sometimes he drives me nuts with this negative attitude towards food. not only just picky, he doesn't seem to have any appetite at all, he always is not hungry! ok, maybe i exaggerated a bit, let me correct that statement, 'he is rarely hungry'.. so the point is, since he started schooling, every single food is edible. he even eats raw vegetables (tomatoes, carrots, broccoli etc)! wow! at home, he refused to even had his hand on them! nevertheless, he did complain, "afeef terpaksa makan tomato sampai abis, sebab semua orang makan sampai abis, teruk nye rasa, nak termuntah, tapi kena abiskan jugak.." hehehe

Flohmarkt
Even though we were unable to make it to Flohmarkt last saturday,( for the THIRD time actually!), and even though i know, there'll be no flohmarkt during winter season, which means i probably gonna av to wait for the next 4 months before another flohmarkt, I refused to be derailed. I just have to have faith in "kalau ade rezeki", i'll make it to flohmarkt again.. the last time we've been there was early july, which was the 1st and last for the time being. Flohmarkt, something like 'Garage sale' is a monthly event held in Homburg, where people gather to sell their belongings which they have no interest in anymore. . you'll get good bargain for baby's stuffs, home furniture, jackets, clothes, TOYS, etc etc... they were used items but so what? they were mostly in great conditions. i got aleena's summer clothes for only 1 euro each! isn't that fantastic?!
so, the thing is, how i found it funny that we only made it one time. the 2nd time, aleena had fallen sick, the 3rd time, fatini had fallen sick, and the last one was last saturday, which i doubted anyone was selling for the day was rainy. so ther goes our flohmarkt. anyway, this is one of the few things afeef bought on our 1st trip (the only trip pun) there. A GLOBE...(actually, papa yang lebih interested nak beli)
but afeef always asked bout the occurance of four seasons , the alternation of night and day, and why we have to travel via airplane to some countries and some are not. so we decided that a globe would be a perfect assistance in explaining this.

so, isn't this a perfect explanation for a kid who has lots of questions hehe..

unlike other children, afeef prefers indoor activities, he likes to figure something out, the more mind-boggling, the better. sometimes, i'm worried bout him, is this normal? but my mom used to tell me not to worry, coz he's so much like my elder sister when she was young.. like mom said "kecik2 sama macam aunty tie, maybe besar nnt jadi lawyer jugak kot..." mmm, kalau jadi lawyer mama restuuuu hehe..

Cicak cicak di dinding, diam diam merayap...
ooooooo, my biggest fear! amongst the things i love so much here is that I don't have to bear with those tiny little creatures! just the sight of them is enough to make me shiver, and they always left behind their "wastes" for me to clean, and also they loved to quietly creep on the table looking for food, hide behind every door and hidden corners and suddenly emerged without a warning, out of nowhere, and made me jump in shock! this fear is tormenting!

Are we grateful enough?
I've just learnt that a friend of mine had a miscarriage. my heart somehow inexplicably shattered, for some reasons i'm not sure about.. perhaps a part of me is missing the excitement of conceiving and expecting a baby. my friend, she was so devastated and frustrated for the loss as she was really looking forward for her 2nd pregnancy. i on the other hand, have had a vague memory of that kind of excitement for the last time i've felt it, was when i got pregnant with Afeef. Aleena happened unexpectedly, I wasn't ready for her i guess, but she's truly a bless from Allah SWT. Fatini happened at the right time considering afeef's age at the time, he was almost 3. i was so ready for a baby back then, but i was still studying and have had a hard time coping with a final year project's hectic works and irritating supervisor who loves to nag...*sigh*
so, i was led to believe that conceiving Fatini was a mistake... even though i've repented for having such thoughts and feelings in me, still i feel like i'm guilty to her.. perhaps this is one of the reasons why she often gives me a hard time..

Do you see what I see?

Look closely, and you know what i'm trying to show here.. the one's written Mango and the price is 1.39... look closely... hehe..
this is the 1st product from M'sia i've ever encountered sold here in their supermarket.. forgot to snap on the mango itself.. not much were displayed anyway. This is one of the nearby supermarket called Kaufland and seems to be everyone's favorite.. ***sigh** it is the only supermarket (actually out of two) nearby supermarket that opens until 11pm at night. the other one called REWE opens only until 10pm. The rest usually called it a day at most 7pm.. Kaiserslautern is not a huge city, you don't find 24 hour shops here plus all shops are closed on sunday. :(
